Bentvalve down, car turned in front of him,

He's in our Prayers

Here is the only news I have;

He is @ Harborview (Seattle) in Trauma ICU room 255. He is mechanically ventilated and sedated.
A few of the riders on PNWriders did some sleuthing and found out his grandmothers phone #. She is now with James at the hospital.
Aparently they are having some difficulty finding someone to take care of James's two Pitbulls. If there is anyone on this site that knows James well enough to know his dogs, any help would be appreciated.

he has been involved in the situation over there....I'm not sure if he'd ever been to James place either....

Maybe Mike would know of someone that is friendly with the dogs

if he can't
take care of them....I would do it, but it's a bit toooo far away

Ok....here is the latest. From a not to be named doctor at the hospital.

So here's the deal. It looks like James has broken both of his femurs, fractured his check (Zygomatic arch), and has a subarachnoid hemmorage in his brain..in addition to some swelling just below his skull. He is currently on a ventilator and has a ventriculostomy placed into his head to monitor the intracranial pressure. He does not look good. Despite his poor appearance, the prognosis is actually not bad. I would suggest that folks do not visist him at this time and give him some time to wake up.

There you are....

My thought and prays are with him.  It’s truly amazing what kind of treatment & help those level 1 trauma hospitals can do.

I’m a State Trooper here in Florida, and sure would like to know what brand make helmet he was wearing?  I’m just curious because of the head trauma that apparently occurred.

Best Wishes for a speedy recovery !!

What??? I thought he was stable but I guess he was critically stable. I pray he is able to bounce back quickly.

BTW, as mjb asked, anyone know waht helmet he did have? Not a concern this moment but it looks like it saved his life.

I'm not sure if he wears a Shoei or Arai...but he does have a good one

Hey thanxs guys for the information on the helmet.  Seems the top three Shoei, Arai and Suomy (Not in that order) are the ones to wear.

I personally wear a Suomy, and spent the extra money for a good one supposibly, hoping I will never have to find out if it pays-off.

Matt
