Shinko's

I'm getting great mileage out of my Shinko Ultrasoft.

My last 2 were Pilot Powers. When my current one wears out I plan on trying the ultra-soft Shinko. Mainly because I'm getting into drag racing and I hear that's the best tire to use.

I have zero complaints about the PPs though. I'm currently on my 3000th mile on my 2nd one. I ran over a nail with my first one after 4000 miles and it still was chunkey.

The one on the left just about 9000 miles, AV46 ST Azaro's. Replaced it with the one on the right, Storm ST AV56.
Both sport touring, both Avon's

Hmmmm....Avon AV 56's ?, huh

Hey COOP where you located in south florida? I frequent competition quite often and live 5 mins from there.

For mileage, Continental Road Attacks. Got 10K out ot each rear and over 20K out of the front. Great handling too. Trying Michelin Pilot sport HPX's right now, but 2K later I'm not liking how fast they're wearing.

On my spare wheels I have PP 2CT's. Unbelieveable grip, decent mileage so far. Not great, but fair for the grip.

I've tried the Road attack too and like the traction and handleing. With a decent amount of rubber left after 5000 miles, but the traction (wet road handleing) wasn't there.

I've had the same experience with my current Avon Azzro's but the tire was only good (wet road handleing) for about 4000 miles with minium rubber left over and

I have the 2CT tire now. I hate it in the rain... just refuse to be caught riding the bike when it gets wet because the tread design actually channels the water to the center of the tire making it hydroplane!! STOOPID!!

The Metzler M3 is the best tire I have ever used on my Busa. I went with the 180/55 and never looked back. Anyone who has seen how I ride can attest that I do not baby the bike in any means. All three Metzlers made it past 7600 miles on the rear and 2:1 for the fronts. In the rain the Metzlers are the best tires I have ever used! I had confidence to travel 90-100 in a torrential downpour to get around those nasty 18-wheelers!

Best of luck what ever you choose!

I've been using the 2CTs for a while now & ride in the rain often. No problems. South florida gets some insane rain storms in the afternoon & the flooding is bad. Maybe it has something to do with how course our roads are down here, but no sign of hydroplaning yet.
