You are right, if I don't get anything today I'm going to quit being Mr. nice guy. I don't know what it is about human nature, but I really try to treat everyone else like I want to be treated. Seems the majority of people just figure they can be lax with me since they consciously or subconsciously interpret my niceness as weakness. I'm having this problem with more than enough people, currently. I never want to be a hard-ass with people and want to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I just get sh!t on.

Will let you guys know what happens tonight...

bro

where did you buy it from, maybe someone on here can go get your keys and title for ya if they live near by

Thanks Devl- I just left a message for the guy and lets see what happens. Still nothing yet from the mail. Regards

Kurt

Can u check the VID # to see if their is a lienholder for that bike, possession won't help if their is a lien against that bike an thats why he hasn't sent the title. Way to much time has passed already. Its time for action now. Post the vid and the state if possible. You can track a lien against it without the knowing the state but it takes longer.

Busa1166- What's a VID # (you mean VIN?) How do you check it? Thanks

+TX- I've just sent him an email stating that I'm getting the police involved if I don't hear from him tomorrow, or if the things don't come. I can't believe what an ass this guy is being. I'm so damned sick of being nice to certain people. I will keep you guys posted when the next step comes tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Regards

Kurt

Yea the VIN. I work at a towing company in Miami FL. I may able to get my boss to check the number for me to see if it has a lien holder, out of state title search will take a little longer. TXbusa is right though so much time has passed maybe getting the police involved not a bad idea not sure what kinda help ebay offers for problems if any at all. Police run that # they should get the owner an lien holder info if there is one right away I think. Don't mean to sound negative.

Well, he emailed me this a.m. and told me that he will have a confirmation number for the overnight Fedex tonight. He asked me to think of why he would want to do something wrong when the bike's in my possession.

I did mention that I was going to get the police involved if he didn't contact me today. I asked if he blamed me for getting upset when the bike's been sitting for nearly 2 weeks with no title or keys. I think he's just lax. He could have had his wife send the stuff if he was too busy! I did mention that the tires are virtually bald, and asked him if he'd go halves on a new set with me.

He really is a nice guy, but I'm perplexed why he would douche me around like this. I give up trying to figure some people out.

Hopefully you'll have the keys before Friday and can let us know before the board goes down. How did he respond to question about the tires?

Hi BigBS. I haven't got a response from him about that, but I feel he would be open to it. I should have everything tomorrow (hopefully!). Thanks for asking,

Kurt

This is stilllllllllllllllllllllllllllll going on. I would have been on his door step, or have another member pay him a visit for that stuff a week ago.

Thanks guys. I just got an email from him with the USPS confirmation #. It should be here by noon tomorrow (and he's guaranteeing it). The seat should follow a few days later(I have the dome on it now). He also is open to splitting on the cost of a new set of tires, I just have to let him know the price.

I'm sure you guys are sick of seeing this topic already. Thanks for the support and will let you know if the stuff indeed comes tomorrow.

Regards

Kurt

I hope yo get them bro,I really do but wont believe it until I see it.didnt he tell you last week he was overnighting the keys? and he still has the title?? not good man, whos to say he doesnt claim you stole the damn bike,I mean he still has the keys and the title.I dont know anyone who would pay for a vehicle without first holding the title, your too trusting for your own good...let us know

The same way he made time to collect his money he should have made the time to take what, 30 minutes or 1 hr tops out of his supposedly busy day to ship a pretty important thing that you need for your purchase. You should show your appreciation for his efforts and consideration for you in the ebay rating. I hope it all works out. Bet you won't sleep tonight thinking about those keys.

DEVL_ I am too trusting. I give people the benefit of the doubt, to be fair to everyone.

Busa- I agree! I bought the bike on Craigslist, btw (let the flames begin!)
