I re-sprung my Gen 2 with Gold Tech valves and Progressive springs up front and a Progressive shock out back....

I had progressive springs up front on my gen 1, but two different professionals I've spoken with regarding my gen 3 recommended linear springs if I'm going to upgrade to a stiffer set. Depends on what you want and your riding style. Most suspension shops are race oriented so there is a bias there.
