BIKE COVERS

(Willie G @ May 11 2007,19:45) I've got a Geza cover for mine.  I like the way it s-t-r-e-c-h-e-s over the bike.

I use a Dowco with the bike parked either in the garage or on the car port and a Geza when out for extended rides. Geza stashes great in the hump, check out Pashnit's web site if you want to see it. Also great for just keeping the bike from prying eyes and leaving your bags on the bike.

I cover mine with my apartment kitchen im looking for good cover though my drunk friends want to sit on it when im not around and that scares me

If you ride anywhere overnight(s), the good set up is my 1983 Yamaha Venture...ugly, old and waterproof cover, wraps up in a small stuff bag but when covering, looks like the bike is a tired old early touring bike. The last people I want to impress is a van load of low life scum bike stealing parking lot cruisers. It works especially well when you are surrounded with other nice bikes with new and pretty covers.

Geza Covers are great covers, not cheap, but he's been around a long time, and his cover speaks for itself.

With the hump mod, I take the cover everywhere. And yes, while the bike is in the GARAGE, cover the bike with the Geza cover there too.

Btw, working on a Group Buy for geza in June '07 in case anybody wants to save a couple bucks.

at home = garage
bad weather in parking lot = Dowco
Off-off season (between thanksgiving - new year, not much time to ride) = soft quilt & Dowco

bike week = in motel room with cable lock

(MoosesBusa @ May 11 2007,23:43) Roof over the garage at home and it rolls in the room with me on the road...NO, I'm not kidding. There are a LOT of p!$$ed off Motel managers that can attest to it. Hint... Always inspect the door width before paying for the room

I would think the bike would just count as another person right?

I'm at work so I can't view all the pictures that are cross linked from sites like PhotoBucket.

How about a cover that will either fit neatly in the hump OR in the Recon 19 tank bag I just ordered.

I like that Geza cover... but wow @ the price tag.

Maybe one that will cover the helmet if left on the bike?

Specifc: One like the Geza (stretch) that will also cover the front fender (entire tire if need be) AND come down at an angle from the hump to cover up the fairings and protect them from UV as well?

Thoughts?
