Bike Thieves Again!

Busa= Iron Horse, Aren't we supposed to hang horse thieves? Just a thought..

Would be a shame if you accidently dropped some of those "gutter nails" on the ground while you were fixing your shed. They would stand straight up and someone could walk on one during the night:whistle:

??? thats a good one....theyd probably have the same reaction as that clown/walmart commercial

I'm 6'4", 240lbs. and a brown belt in Jiu Jitsu. I'd be like Rorschach in The Watchmen, "I'm not locked in here with you, you're locked in here with me!" and commence to rippin' off some appendages. Of course, that's provided the boys didn't get to 'em first.:devil:

I feel better having my Roadlok installed, but I would probably take the same precautions as you if there was even a sign of any attempt. And yes, I do own firearms.

yeah Mike you certainly dont want anybody to steal something from you huh? After all theivery is YOUR job isn't it?

I agree with all of the safeguards you are putting in place to prevent your bike from being stolen.

Although I am not so sure I would have publicy stated on a forum your intentions of not hesitating to "give these scumbags a dirtnap".

Just an observation...

It's Florida, so no problem. It goes by actions not words, if they come on to my property to steal my bike, and I confront them with my 9mm and they take a swing at me with a knife, (bringing a knife to a gun fight) I can blast them for being in fear of my life. You should see the knife they will be carrying, it looks friggen awesome!

OK, I replied to everyone and got my post count up! Here is the story now that all of the trash talk is over (by me!). I have signed a contract with ATD for a full alarm system on the home and the shed! I will also have a 500 watt Halogen light on a motion sensor that will flood the shed with so much light it will look like broad daylight out there. If the alarm goes off, it will wake me up so I can respond with the M&P. If I'm not home, the monitoring company will have the police come by. Also, I don't have it hooked up to the house phone so they can't cut any wires, it is an internal radio transmitter to the monitoring station. I have a new steel door coming for the shed with commercial metal plates that go around the locks and such. The frame of the shed (pretty sturdy already) will be reinforced so you will not be able to kick it open at all. The house doors are all getting reinforced (kickproof) and metal plates around the locks etc.

All of this is that they MUST repeat MUST make noise to get in the house where the bike is sitting or the shed. This loud noise they must make will wake me up. :cheerleader: Problem solved. So, hopefully I have covered all my bases......total cost, about $1000 after I get all repainted and such. Plus, my wife is looking for us to move in a about 6 months so we will be out of the white trash neighborhood. She watches TV at night with my Taurus Ultralight .38 with +P rounds in it at night when I'm at work. She will not hesitate to fire......probably shoot up our own house knowing her!

I keep the Glock 22 .40cal loaded at all times. I have had a neighbor get his garage door ripped off the tracks because some punk a$$ thieves wanted his quads. :beerchug:

Well, the neighborhood bike thieves tried to get the BKing again. They thought I had it in the shed when its really in the house. They tore up my shed door and doorjam. Anyway, a new alarm system will be installed in the house and the shed next week. I will also have a 500 watt Halogen light that lights up the shed, it will be set on a movement sensor.

I have now loaded up the S&W M&P 9mm compact with Magsafe rounds. I will not hesitate to give these scumbags a dirt nap with pushing up daisies as a full time job. I also don't care if they are under age. In Florida you can blast them if they whip out a weapon (knife) and swing at you. I have had enough. Shots will be fired if they have a weapon of ANY type.

shoot them for sure and just be sure to have some knives laying around....THAT YOU DIDNT BUY WITH A CREDIT CARD....so you can go put it on them in case they don't have anything

+1

You don't need to permanently disable or execute someone for attempting to steal your best toy.

Not sure if anyone here has been attacked or even threatened by an angry dog, but even a medium-sized dog can remind you you're not as hardass as you think. Dogs are ****ing WILD when they switch, it's all well and good seeing an attack on TV but if a dog flares it's teeth at you and gets it's hackles up you know you're in for a savage battle unless you back the **** away, and slowly!

Just look at these images.
Dogs mean business.

are you smoking crack??? You obviously have never had anything stolen like a 10-15-20K motorcycle and then have the insurance F you over for 60%.Good luck keeping a dog in you house that is a badass enough to rip somebody arm off but not be a liability. I own a 90lb pit myself and no way I would train that thing to "protect" my property....not when I can use my 45.
1. somebody will just "shoot" your badass dog no matter how big, fast, mean, or how hard it bites
2. Then they will steal your bike
3. Then you will come home and have a dead dog and a stolen motorcycle.
