Put a resistor in place of the air temp sensor during dyno runs and mods so that you do not experience the fluctuations

Are you blowing air into the nostrils? If not try it it will raise your HP if your fans are good enough and ypou can direct it into the nostrils. I have seen 176 HP this way.

no ramair tubes ,just big blower fan,i also used redline's waterwetter, temp. drop 15 deg. since the ram air doesn't start working until after 145mph it's real hard to duplicate.

you are correct, but as they stated it was negative pressure up to that point,do to the massive flow of the motor

Busa , when U say that the ram air doesnt give effect until 145mph I think u are reffering to the test in the american magazine Sportsrider. They stated that the pressure in the airbox wasnt POSITIVE until it hits 145 mph, that is not the same as it doesnt work until 145mph. Think about it. If it didnt work there would be only negative pressure at 145 instead of zero pressure ( compared to the pressure in the air ) So the intake DOES work before 145 or else there would be negative pressure in the airbox......... Still confused ?

A superFlow 250 Dyno is set up to provide ramair. The ramair matches the speed of the dyno's drum.
At 5500 rpm (4th gear)up you see the ramair begin to make more power than the non ram air run.
I don't know the eaxact air speed from the SuperFlow though. I assumed it matched MPH but maybe not. I can e-mail SuperFlow.
Your "Big Fan" may have a positive effect depending on How Big?

I have an overlay of the dyno runs with and without ramair.

Bob, did you ever get your PCII to work without any problems. They have one available at the shop that I use for dyno runs. He wants $300.00 for it and will include some dyno time to get it dialed in. Do you think it's worth it?
