Bonneville or Bust~!~

Yep, thanks for clearing that up...just talked to him again. When we spoke earlier it was short and sweet cause he was still pumped and running ragged looking for his stuff but he'll have to back it up tomorrow.

The Lakester ran high 200's for a licensing run.

Yea, all and all he's ok which is the most important thing. That's it for the bike though. The special aero fairings are toast.
Fred ran 228mph yesterday and was backing up the run today and went down. They said he crashed at over 200mph but is okay. It doesn't sound like the bike is but at least Fred is good...

WoW, that's got to be a ruff tumble either way...glad he came out ok~!~

The Firebird qualified for a record today in it's class and will do the back up run in the morning.

If I understand correctly, the Lakester spun around 4 times running about 280 but kept the rubber side down. Couple new body panels and tires and should be running again.

Well Guys Im home and the red hat fits well. I got the record for the aps-f 1350 that was Fred Vance's. And thank you Fred for your help too. New record of 218.0. Not to shabby. Funny thing is i just ran out of gear. Had more in it but then again why push it of my first all out runs a Bonneville. Thanks to everyone for there help and support. Expesually Dennis, Mark Ken and the whole WZBD team and its sponsers. :beerchug::cheerleader:

Had to wear the glasses. You will go blind without them. Thank you for your help. I got some thing for you when I see you next.

Hey Congrats Kevin! Great pics! I hope you'll be willing to post up a a little write of your experience. :poke::laugh:

To everyone, note that to get your "red hat" is not an easy task. To go out to Bonneville your first time and hammer one into the record books is huge!!! Kevin made it look to easy.:beerchug::thumbsup::cheerleader:

Welcome back to the East side :welcome:

... Must be Dennis's camera ... (j/k)

Think the date is a bit off~!~

No it wasnt Dennis's it was Wayne's. I will write up some thing on here about all i did so others can go fast too. Plus that will mean the records will go up and the faster i will have to go too.

interesting wind splitters on your front forks. what are those for?

Not sure what you are talking about. I looked over the pics i posted and the only thing i can think you are looking at is where the break caliper goes. If that isnt it not sure what you are looking at.
