I have an earlier model of the Alpine Alpha Touring boot. It's waterproof, great ankle support, comfortable on AND off the bike.

Mine are designed for the pants to be worn over the boot, but I suppose you could tuck in your pants legs. I utilize leather over-pants so I don't need to tuck in the legs.

I have the Alpinestars SMX 5 in the none waterproof. Very happy with them so far. They do make the SMX 5 in waterproof.

Joe Rocket makes great quality stuff too, and they run true to size.

Sidi for touring, warm/waterproof and Sidi for everything else!
They are a little pricey but they last and work as advertised.

I had only had these for a few months. They were comfortable but not as comfortable as the Gaerne GRW boots I now wear.

Joe Rocket makes great quality stuff too, and they run true to size.

I love my Joe Rocket Speedmasters (previous gen)....I figure if they're good enough for Mat Mladin then the are good enough for me!
