Very cool project. How about fabricating an elbow oil drain that extends out a couple inches and turns down between the pipes with a screw plug on that? Not sure but maybe you can shave a bit off the front of the oil pan to get clearance? Looks like you only need a little bit in the video.
Yeah, I thought about doing that too... Rich at Rilltech mentioned exactly what you said.
I'm thinking a sidewinder exhaust is the way to go. Couple reasons, One, it would take the heat away from the oil and oil pan. Two, I have to run my water and electronics to the front of the car and they will be coming in right by the oil filter. Three, the brake lines will be following the same route and we all know what happens if your brake fluid over heats.
