(bradsbusa @ Jul. 14 2007,21:05) about 179 ish
Not trying to say I know it all, but I rolled up to 175 the other morning on the way to work, and was STILL pulling really hard..... tacho was reading about 11200 and as I said it was still accelerating HARD....I know it would have been more than 179- speedo-healer installed so I know that is a true speed reading...I believe the 16/42 would allow a little more top-end....just my .02

Nice kill!
I'll have 16/42 on mine as of this upcoming Saturday. I CAN'T WAIT!!!

I'm looking at getting the 17/43 set-up in a couple weeks...closest 17 set-up to a 16/42.  This set-up allows a little more top-end (looking at gear ratios) while losing a hair of pull down low.  If I need more from there it's an easy transition to a 16/43.

If one wants to move up from a 16/42 for some reason they would need to but another sprocket yet again.
