Busa Colors...

Several improvement have been made over the years. The most remarkable of these has been the addition of the Black and Blue (fastest) color. Extensive testing by the Genii has proven this fact scientifically.

Okay you guys/gals, I'm gonna put a slightly different twist to this one.  Check this out (and this is in all honesty):  In my hometown, there are 9 people with Busas and here is how the different color schemes fair:

3  Blue/Silver
3  Silver/Grey
2  Black/Grey
1  All Black SE


   Doesn't mean a damn thing, but people really do love the Blue/Silver.  I was stuck between a rock and a hard place when I was trying to decide, but went with the Silver/Grey primarily because of its appeal.  Don't get me wrong, but the Black/Blue has the prettiest blue color, but when Suzuki used the Black on the tail cowling, I decided against it.  Now if they would have put the blue on the cowling, then I would probably have a black/blue Busa right now.



I GUESS YOU ARE ALL SITTING THERE RIGHT NOW AND SAYING..."WHO CARES???"

Hey I have a thought on this...

People do not allways get what they want when it comes to bike colors... (LoBusa excluded) If you look over the years of busa production you will see more silver/Blue Silver/black combinations available stateside than any other colors. This being the case I am willing to bet that a lot of folks simply bought what was available at their local dealers.

People get impatient, and given that they will be in dealer with only one or two choices they buy what is there and don't look back. I allmost wound up stuck with the 03 silver/grey this way. It wasn't until I took a deep breath, slowed down and asked the dealer to find an 02 SE that I even realized they would do that for me. Took over a month but I finally got what I was after.

What I am saying is, I am willing to bet that their are a whole lot of folks with Japanese bikes that basically settled for a color that was on the show room floor instead of trying to force the issue. So the numbers in your particular case may not mean that people dig them more than other colors, they just bought what was available. Just a thought...

look for the kick a55 black/blue busa at seca, that be mine, I,ll be wearing the re-entry, dont get any ideas, it is armed with a nokamiche Z911 tazer parimeter alarm and I have it set to incapacitate! mess with it and you may need 911, fair warning!!!

Two toned usually suck, except a famous black/green...

Personally, I think the Black and Grey colors of this year are the best so far, with the All Black edition close behind. I like chrome and nothing sets off chrome and polished parts like black.... With the Black and Grey, it's already set up to be customized w/o the need of a custom paint job!!

it was black with grey but had a checkerd flag imposed in
the paint has anyone seen this b4 the guy said it was a factory 2001 color but i cant find a pic anywhere, can anyone help me out thanks
