Busa = Gixxer1300?

The busa has the same model designator as any of the other non-race bikes... e.g. GSX-R600, GSX-R750, GSX-R1000... compare GSX650F, GSX750F (no longer produced), and the GSX1300R... its not a race bike... ;-)

Suzuki should tell that to all the "race" bikes the Busa creams.

I tried that tactic. The insurance lady said "Oh, you have a Hayabusa, that'll be $1500 please". They know all the tricks!???

must be your age or driving record. my ins. is 366.00 a yr for full cov. and lowest ded.

I just say I have a hayabusa. usually they just stare with a look of... huh?

It also depends on where you live. In Dallas we have one of the highest motorcycle theft rates in the U.S., so they rape us on insurance.

99'busa, actually I'm 56 with no tickets or accidents. Rates in S FL are almost prohibitive.???
