From my front door to the local bakery is just over 63K’s (40 miles).
There’s next to no straights, all country roads, fast and flowing.
Some slower 3rd gear corners, some real fast long sweepers.
If I’m on the Gen-3 I never touch cruise control.
I’m no Rossi or Marquez, I consider myself average on a good day.
However… a lifetime on bikes, 20 years on Busa’s,
I’m VERY familiar with this road doing it a few times a week on bikes with pro-set suspension, 190/55 S22’s etc etc.
It’s not unusual to meet riders who live further away on the coast including this bit of road in their day.
Obviously it’s a huge advantage doing the road so often, and riding several times a week not just on a Sunday, but I do my best to show folk the big old Busa isn’t just a straight line bike.
