what you guys dont realize is that Ben is doin a lil trick to get the burnout started...I do the same thing....

You start the bike, get it idling, then with your left hand, grab the bike under the frame near the seat, and LIFT!!! (this only worx with Mini-Busas...and only a few members here have them) then start accelerating while rear tire is off the ground, then drop back and POW! instant burnout

burnouts r kewl....even kewler if you do'em in snow....c'mon Ben-lesse some sno-donuts!

I was trying to, but RPM's weren't high enough. Each time I'd let off enough to shift, friction would instantly take over... needed an extra split second. I MIGHT have gotten to 3rd. I started in second.

Patience young padiwan... Need a higher quality camera. Paul and I will hopefully get some pics by next week. Gotta get a new tire put on and the bike cleaned up.

When I was a teenager I had a Z28 with a 400 small block and among other things, a shift kit. Anyone that has ever had a car with a shift kit knows it chirps when it shifts gears. Well, my tires chirped while driving by my neighbors house down the street while he was washing his car and I guess it pissed him off enough to drive down the street in front of my parents house and do the weakest burnout I've ever seen. Needless to say I showed him what a real burnout looks like.

I've grown up since then, though, not sure what yamahor's excuse is...

Well, that busa got totaled shortly after. Ben is still kickin but we both have bad lower backs and both of us are big guys so busas are a no go now. I'm 6'5, he's 6'10.
I still have that front fender and right lower fairing.

What’s a right “lower” fairing? Mine only has two side fairings and the bottom piece whatever it’s called.

The big right side gen1 lower fairing with the kanji on it. That's all gen1 have is one piece each side and the nose cone.

The gen1 just has 1 big side panel. While the gen2 is a 2 piece side
