Buyer Beware of an Ebay store

Sorry I cannot be "NICE" to a crook. I will fly off the handle every single time someone does me over. I am originally from NY and my up bringing has shown me not to be "NICE", cause that is a sign of weakness. IF I order something and it is not advertised that you will not receive all the parts of a item, to me that is fraud! The thing you need to do right away is report it to paypal and than the ebay right away. Sorry Suzuki4life if I flamed you a little. It is just the same as if I was selling a hayabusa on ebay. What would you do if I sold a bike to you and a delivery truck came by and dropped off to you the front tire by its self. The delivery guy hands you a envelope with a letter inside stating I will have the rest of your bike delivered in the future. To me it is the same thing as this guy did to our fellow member. It is wrong! It is fraud! This guy should do time in a jail for it. Money now days is luxury for many people. It hurts people now days.

ebay and paypal are buyer's markets now days....if you got screwed then you either sent a money order/ check (which isn't very smart) or you delayed too long.

How long did you wait to file a complaint?

Ask the seller if he has a tracking number...sounds like this was a large item he wouldn't had sent through the mail? ALL non USPS shippers include insurance on their even their lowest shipping options. They ALL also have tracking number on EVERY package.

Most important, BE NICE. Too many of you guys fly off the handle at the first sign of any problem. Be nice, its money not a kid....more will be made. You catch more flies with honey concept...

If you got one box, most likely he did try sending something....

Look for more info.....

post a link to the ebay auction where you won this.

And ALWAYS be careful when dealing with ANYONE...

It really sucks when fellow members here steal from you....ebay is expected.

Saw this in th eFail thread, seemed timely

I had the same thing happen with Jeffery Williamson aka maxhootue store with ebay. Comforter was "backordered" each time I contacted him. I finally contacted the manufacturer to see if the item was backordered or discontinued. As I feared, it was discontinued. I have contacted Mr. Williamson via email and telephone 515-681-2479. He will not reply or refund. His voice mail even says if it's about an ebay sale, he will not call you back so not to leave a message. He said emails are quicker. They are only quick if you are buying. Want a refund, and he won't reply. I cannot leave negative feedback because I believed him too long. Paypal won't help. I am now looking into getting the address to file in small claims court. I hope the address several of you have posted is correct. Thanks for that info. and continue to spread the word about this seller. I am sending the link of this email to ebay, Paypal, and the Better Business Bureau. They all need to know about this seller.

He's got the perfect scam going, and lots of fresh suckers
E-Bay sucks a**, and this is why. And its getting worse and worse  I say f**k E-Bay

Sad to hear this, I've done alot of transactions on ebay, both buying and selling. Only had 2 bad deals out of over 400+

Yeah, me too. Only had a problem once out of 200+ and still buy from ebay. Just bought an inexpensive JVC surround tuner. Always go with excellent feedback history and power seller is always an added sense of confidence.

Sorry to hear pocket. I can't beleive gixxer1300 got the address....that is AWESOME!!!!! We should throw a big Busa party bash on his front lawn!!!!

I always pay with a CC up front so I don't have to worry about getting the item I bought or not.... The card is gonna cover da bug if the scum doesn't send what I ordered. Sorry to hear another oRg Brother got taken by this piece of

On the lighter side why not file a small claims in the sellers state? Bet, he's never had anyone do that before...

I have also had a horrible experience with this seller, maxhootue. This seller, Jeffrey Williamson, is a master of the disingenuous, small print equivocators, and king of stalling. He listed a wet saw for sale. The item description stated that it was located in Iowa and that shipping would be 4-8 business days. He charged sales tax for shipping out of state because he claimed that the company that he orders these saws from had a physical location in my state. They may have, but they did not have any saws in my state. After no delivery in 4-8 business days, I emailed Jeff, who apologized and said that the saw would take 6-8 weeks before it would be delivered. He promised a refund, but this did not happen until some days later after I filed a complaint with eBay.

He relisted the saw immdiately after selling one to me, and the new listing still promised 4-8 business days for delivery. If one brings up the shipping page and looks closely at the small print at the very bottom, one will see that he does say that shipping may take longer. He feels that this hard to find and read disclaimer justifies advertising to the contrary.

In one month I will have been a member of eBay for 10 years. This is my second worst experience in over 600 purchases on eBay.

^^ Holy random posts Batman:laugh:

I gotta ask, how did you come to post on Busa forum about a wetsaw from a bum seller? Did we pop-up on google?

I remember this ebay name. I was considering buying a trailer from this guy about a year ago, and started asking him questions. His responses were not satisfactory like he was hiding something, so I bought one at Harbor Freight.

I love eBay just gotta be careful who you buy from and what you are buying. Thank God so far I have not been screwed to where i have lost money, maybe only 25 bucks... :please:

knock on wood; I have not been raked yet on flea-bay. I've mostly bought stuff, seamless transactions. I hate that scammers turn decent sites into rip-offs!!

Thanks for digging this up again since not everyone saw it first time around!

Since the subjects open whats yall's opinion on this
Back in early october i started putting a bunch of odds and ends on ebay to build up some spending money for the winter makeover. Sold a snap on injector socket i had, guy got a great deal and even paid right away...but ebay was showing it as unpaid, so about a week later checked my paypal getting kind of mad he didnt pay and it shows i recieved payment the day it sold...ruh roh.
So i email him right away explain what happened and that i would take it tomorrow and get it shipped as fast as i could get it to him to try and make right, never got a response. So send him a message when i get home from the post office telling him he would have it guaranteed by friday (sent on wed) and to let me know when it showed up....Nothing. 2 weeks later get a message saying "have not recieved item please advise"
Thought the message sounded kinda odd, no mention of the socket or anything else so sent him one back saying why did you wait 2 weeks after it was to arrive to contact me and i would go check tomorrow with the post office. Go to post office with reciept and it showed it as being delivered that friday at 1233pm. So sent him one back saying it was showed as delivered and copied the address from his paypal that it was shipped to asking if it was correct...3 weeks later still have got no response from him, has good feedback and alot of transactions just seems shady, he hasnt filed a claim, how long do you have to file one
Had 10+ other transactions around the same time without a hitch
I end up loosing the tracking paper and low and behold 2 weeks later get a message

Sorry to hear about the ripoff. I've been lucky enough not to have any problems with ebay. But if you have a problem ebay is hard as hell to get in contact with. They use to have a number to call but now they don't. Something is wrong right there. Must be getting too many complaints that they don't want to deal with
