Go to Gearing Commander: Motorcycle Speed, RPM, Chain & Sprockets Calculator and load the busa data. Then you can play with the gearing and see how it affects your speed and RPM.

Thanks fellas! I'll be checking out the links. I did look at the throttle mod and seems pretty straight forward. Is it necessary to pull the tank or only if I need to make adjustments to the cable tension? Is it most likely I will need to replace the grip? If so, any suggestions?

I went to it but it doesn't have the Busa in their database and I'm u sure of the info it wants for inputs. Where can I get the needed specs?

It has the database, you have to select Suzuki > GSX > and then the Hayabusa options will show up in the next drop down.
