Been looking at that color combination thing would look even better with white wheels. Maybe later this year, but first would have to sell my Gen 1 which is hard part for me with all the time and money invested I know would only get a fraction of what I put into it back.

I was thinking white wheels would look good too.
Had them on 01 gsxr1000, looked good, where terrible to keep clean...and I'm not one to clean a bike either, just ride it:laugh:

no chit that's what I think every time I see them. Just think about that rear bad boy

We have no emission inspection in Florida. You can buy an new car and strip the cats off it no problem.
I'm sure it can be done. What I'm looking for is somebody who's brought a vehicle from there to here and what it cost them extra if anything or any other hoops or hurdles encountered.

 That took a lot less time than I expected

A little off topic..

We have no emissions but if a cop catches you without cats they can take your ride in, make you correct it.

that last time I bought a Canadian bike and brought it to usa was 2001. Back then you needed a letter from the manufacturer with the vin number on it stating that it met usa epa and emissions standards. It says it right on the bike, but that is not good enough. The letter can not be from the Canadian manufactuer/importer either. must be usa. It is also supposed to read mph on the speedometer. usa motorcycles have mph and km. Canada ones usually only have km. I bought a 2000 Kawasaki zx9r. the gauges were digital and I told them their was some buttons I needed to push to get it to read mph, but I did not know how. they let that slide. Butt...... I bought the bike right before Christmas. I planed to pick it up the day after new years. I called Kawasaki usa to get the letter. Apparently at the time only one person in the company could to the letter and they were on vacation. I called, left messages, etc... could not get the letter in time. I called Kawasaki Canada and they sent a letter with vin stating it met usa epa and dot standards. I picked the bike up and went to the border. they would not let me though because the letter was not from Kawasaki usa. Their were oem stickers on the bike stating it met usa epa and dot standards and I had the letter from Kawasaki Canada, but they would not let me cross the border with the bike. I had to go back and rent a storage unit to put it in until I could come back latter with the letter from Kawasaki usa. that sucked. Made it through fine the second time with the letter from Kawasaki usa.
