Can I buy a Canadian bike and import it to the USA?

Curious if a Canadian bike could be bought there and brought back to be registered in USA, Florida? I sell cars all the time to folks who take them back to Canada. But how does it work the other way around?

I think this has to be one of the prettiest Busa color schemes I've seen. This is a 2014 Canadian bike right? What if any differences are there between American and Canadian bikes?

A busa is a busa no matter what country you get it from but black has always been the fastest...

That thing looks electric! Me wants :(

It would either be that and all original or just an American bike. I'm not mix matching colors. You'd have to buy a tank as well. That's getting costly.

You also have to buy exhaust, tune, wheels, powdercoat, ect. ect.
If it doesn't live up to Blanca, that pretty blue is gonna get old fast:poke:

Well it already has black wheels. :)

Just need an AH and a Flash for now. But the pretty blue garbage can I still have in my shed will make a nice matching trunk mod. :)

I'm just dreaming now anyway. Gonna put a new roof on my house and take family on a nice summer vacation, then we will see.

But.........the more I look at the more I can't stop looking at it......

I like that color scheme....

Well actually there's colors from Europe that Americans can't buy at a local dealership, from '99 to '07 , Euro bikes had running lights and Americans didn't, and I hear that euro bikes were gonna be additionally restricted, but I don't know if that happened. They make a California bike, and that can't be good for performance

good to see you got the itch again blanca.. i just checked with a friend of mine that bought a canada bike back about 10 years ago and said that you would have to bring it to a DMV regional center and they just do an inspection and check emissions and as long as there emissions are the same as ours then its a go..but that was 10 years ago so something may have changed. ((49 state usa E-03)) emissions is the same as E-28 ((canada)) so i dont think you would have any issues other then alittle more foot work
