BelRay Super Clean is the best lube money can buy.

it is not flying off at all.

I bought all chain lubricant available in my local stores and tried them all. at 150 MPH only BelRay stays on.
12K miles on aluminum sprocket and still looks like new.

Starting to really like this stuff.

Still, I'm still experimenting, etc.

(argyle66 @ Jun. 14 2007,21:55) ok so I get fling off... any good recommended cleanser for getting it off your wheel and the shiny bits?

?
Kerosene cleans chain lube from the chain and the wheel very well.

(CBXRider @ May 27 2007,14:39) I've used Maxima chain wax on all three bikes and like it a lot.  I change sprockets when they need changing, every three or four chains, but you'll likely get other opinions.
ya chain wax seems to be the best I'vs found

Super tech white grease from walmart is best Ive found, also use it on 1000 track bike.  But you do need to wait a few hrs before riding, over nite is best for me. 400 miles before rollers start to shine is not uncomon.

I use the maxima chain wax. Get your chain warm, clean it and apply. I let mine sit over night after applying the wax. Zero fling off. I usually do it when I have gotten home from a ride, chain is already warm. Kerosene to clean.

I use silkoline pro, chain tends to look cleaner longer between cleanings. chain wax showed on my gold chain since it's brownish, silkoline is clear and i've had no problems over the last 8+ years of use. before silkoline, i used chain wax, great stuff, just looked dirty.

I drag race with a non-O ring chan, so this might not be applicable to some, but the first thing I do is soak the whole chain in kerosene for a few days. After taking it out and scrubbing it, good 'ol WD-40 does the trick. A little fling off, but I don't mind a little cleaning if it helps my E.T.

(Wag @ Jun. 12 2007,06:09) Someone sent me a can of Sidewinder Chain Lube a few weeks ago and I just used it for the first time about a week ago.  So far, I'm pleased with the results.

I intend to keep everyone posted on whether or not I like it over a few lubes and cleans.

Wag,
I sent you the Sidewinder, I was wondering if you were ever going to use it. I have been using it ever since I put the BST's on my bike. Seems to work very well, doesn't sling off and so far nothing amiss with the chain. Prior to that I have always used PJ1 or Chain Wax on all my chains.

Dude, you just saved me having to track you down in my e-mail history. THANK YOU!

Are you a distributor for that lube? If you are, I need to hook up with you and buy a couple more cans of it.

Let me know!

No, I bought it directly from Sidewinder at their website. We had gotten into a discussion in another thread regarding lubes and I had just bought 4 cans of their SS-51. This stuff is not cheap, single cans go for $15.99 each. The (4) pack was $12.99 ea. Check out their website,

Sidewinder SS-51

While you are there check out their new "smart" chain that is suppose to make all other chains obsolete.

Been using BelRay the last 4000 miles and it flings, so does the Motorex. Maybe they all do. I lay newspapers down when applying to catch the fling.

Trying Maxima Chain Wax next.

Can't thank you enough, man. That Sidewinder is a great product. Have to get some more soon.

Does not sling at all like the Maxima did. Also, doesn't collect grit and crap on the chain like the Maxima and much easier to clean the chain.

Can't recommend them enough.
