But it's just not about stereotyping...the biggest problem here is that LEOs are supposed to be our protectors, not predators. How can you rely on another LEO to protect you next time when you see all these happening around...so frequently.

Can you count for me how many times you have read a story about police abuse of power? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and say 100 stories in your lifetime (not sure how old you are.) And let's assume that for every story, there are 10 more cases that go unreported (I'm being very generous here.) That's 1000 cases of LEO abuse.
Now, care to guess how many law enforcement officers are employed in the United States?
Roughly 650,000, that's maybe 1 out of 650 officers that has misbehaved or abused their position. I realize I'm being terribly unscientific here, but it's more an illustration of how stereotypes can cloud your judgement. It's as if to say that all black people are criminals or all Hispanics are lazy or all white people are racists. It's horrible when we judge a group of people based on the most shocking and prevalent news stories. Like Blanca said, nobody reports on the good stories, but they will surely report every negative one.
Yes, there are some bad eggs, but that's human nature.

Simply pathetic...just another example police can get away from doing practically anything...from like killing a dog for nothing to killing a human being, being drunk.
