Had a little run in w/ 2 Harley guys during the summer coming up on me fast. Well let me tell ya, I'm not gonna have the Busa to be overtaken by anything, so they catch up to me and I just stayed on the gas just enough to let them think they were gonna get past. I was very impressed as they got up to 140mph before realizing it wasn't gonna happen. Bless there little hearts. It was fun (open road of course). When we all got up to a street light it was all hi-5's, and "dude that was cool" sort of male type bonding going on.

I know, thats why I was so impressed, these to had 2 very hopped up what looked to be Springers. They were real nice, no smack talking but looked like hard core Bikers. Oh, and that speed was w/ no helmets either...crazy.

had a drunk in daytona at bikeweek try to race me and my 2 buddies... busa..04gsxr 1000 and an 05 kws built 1000...we would rev them ,,and he would jump like crazy...we all were laughing at him..he was cussing we were cussing....we would rev them up and he jumped right off the road over the sidewalk on a1a and off into the grass and his buddy wrecked watching him trying to race us...they got arrested for being drunk.....but they thought there harleys were sharley hadows i guess....a metric bike ..and could possibly win....funniest thing i think i have ever seen and no one got hurt,,, only there feelings...one was a brand new vrod and the other a dresser...drinking and bikes do not mix . especially when they are azzholes with a mouth , hard to see without eyes...enjoy the laugh. lol

this dude at the local chopper shop told me that he could beat my 08 busa , with his 150 c.i. chopper that he's building, i laughed my azz off at him, i told him i would only use 2nd and 3 rd gear and i'll ride with him all afternoon, and i told him he'd better have a pick up truck avalible cause he'll need it to pick him up, i think i may have hurt his feeling,.. cause all his boys were there when i told him

I have seen some fast harleys, but the guys who have them know what a busa will do to the big ole blender. And the guys that are clueless that think they can hang with a busa, Well I like to let them think they are winning until about 100mph. Then you blow by them in a wheelie looking at the just knowing that they are thinking "WTF just happened?" HAHA I love it! Good Times!

The most common race I get on the streets is 300ZX or Mustangs... Last week I had a dude in a Bently wanting to run me..I just waved at him,lol.

You better not put any $$$ on the line. Hardley Ableson's have huge amounts of torque for their displacement. 150 cubic inches equals more than 2400 cubic centimeters. He could easily out HP you at that displacement. Your 1340cc Bus is only displacing 81ci. If this guy can get his bike weight down in the 600 pound range, you better know how to race... or run. I have an '06. I raced an HA up Hwy 15 heading north, between San Bernardino and Adelanto (CA). I dont know what he was running, but he kept up with me thru 150mph and he was on a custom chop HD. I don't know how much throttle he had left but he is not the one who backed off... I had to change hwy's...

I dunno what it is about the guys on the Vrods. I had a guy in Savannah Ga. try to run me on a Vrod during St. Patty's Day. Had his girlfriend on the back and when we left the light he pulled up beside me and started racing his engine then started looking for gears. I was on a 600 CBR at the time and still waxed his a**! I haven't had the pleasure of trying one with my Busa yet.

I have a friend i work with who is a harley rider who suggested to me one day that a vrod could keep up with my 06 in the qtr.....Needless to say I looked at him like he had a third eye in the middle of his head....I asked him how long he had been using lsd cause he was sure fire on a trip to think that...lol
