Chris Green... 15 minutes...

I have to barge in here......Floyd committed a crime, not the crime of the century but a crime...it wouldn't have given him the death penalty if convicted but the arresting officer and his lackies did.....unprofessionalism on behalf of the arresting police is what killed Floyd.....

Just like if someone rides their motorcycle at high speeds like most of us on this forum sometimes do and we die as a result of this.....we are no different than Floyd......criminal acts are criminal acts regardless.....how do you pick and choose who should die as a result of their lifestyle.

If someone on this forum rode at criminal speed and ran from police, was then apprehended where the police officer sat on their neck until they died.....what would you say then?
Floyd was defying the orders of the police attempting to bring him in constantly. Floyd was under the influence of a controlled substance. These are contributing factors that put his life in jeopardy from the start. When a guy is repeatedly refusing to show his hands with an officer standing 2 feet away and pointing a gun at him that Floyd can clearly see.... then the police know you are dealing with a first class idiot.... and... he was lying about his mother had just died... yeah... like four year prior to that time... another signal that somebody is living in a world where the truth is all but a memory and risking their life to gain a few extra seconds to try and hide drugs, find a gun, to who knows what he was doing... the guy was a first class circus act for how to be stupid when a cop is telling you what to do while pointing a gun at you. I guess it just wasn't obvious to Floyd that complying with police was in his best interest

Whatever Jelly. You’re just vomiting the same spew so many uber conservatives do. Stats don’t show immigrants to be any more inclined to commit crime than U.S. citizens. This has been discussed to death.
Rape and pillage. You’ve been watching Vikings?
Which Vikings... the football team where I grew up? If you are referring to some drama based TV show then the answer is no... I rarely waste my time watching other people pretending to be someone else. I have much more curiosity to learn new stuff than that. I went and saw Dead Pool a few weeks ago... total waste of time. I fell asleep twice in the recliner at the movie house.

Was that for Zerks, or me? Or are you not all there today?

I'm confused? Isn't that a value then? Do you need help to define that?
The value would be -- Disrespect for women.
Saying it's his values, or lack thereof, instead of saying he's an a$$hole, is typical of putting lipstick on a pig.
You worry me sometimes Red.
Nah. That's a passive aggressive form of criticizing. Again, hopefully we can be honest.

No matter how it happened, the police had Floyd in custody and that is where their responsibility begins to protect the subject in custody......and they failed in their duties....

Police are not judges or juries, they are to arrest people who need to be and then present them to the court system.....no more, no less....

Bottom line, it is the police officer's fault Floyd died....that is what pissed a lot of people off because this sort of thing happens all too often in the US...

Oxford dictionary.

Plural noun: Values
A person's principles or standards of behavior; ones judgement of what is important in life.

Values = a$$hole, same thing.

Just saying, I don’t refer to human beings by their appearance, their genealogy, and put them in boxes as you do. We are all humans, different only by our values and how we conduct ourselves.

The very fact that you are so intent on referring to people by their race, makes you a racist in my view. You look at people, put them in a box, and based on which box you put them in, you believe they are, or should be treated differently. Worst of all, you believe you belong in a different box than they do.

Why can’t we just accept people for character and personality, rather than put them into tribal boxes? Then things like DEI as well as racism won’t exist.
When white people can lip off to police like the ones in the video and walk away and black people are routinely killed by police, that is systematic racism. It doesn't make me a racist to point it out but it kind of does imply that those that can't seem to see it are blind to racism and therefore racists. And yes, I'm talking about people like you.

No, we just think totally different. Note, that I NEVER refer to people by their color. Simply the language you use, created the birth of racism.

Let me try and explain this by giving you a totally hypothetical scenario, and then relate it to the real world:

Let's imagine, we all looked exactly the same, as close as it can get to identical twins. We all have blond hair, blue eyes, we are all 5' 11" tall and we all weigh around 175 lbs. Impossible to be racist, right?

Now let's say some of us wear their denims with the waist line half way down our butt, and some don't. And not always, but generally when there is a car theft, a store robbery, a mass store robbery, not all, but most of those doing the deed, wear their denims with the waist line halfway down their butt cheeks. Don't you think the police force would be a bit more suspicious when they encounter a possible suspect wearing his denims half way down his butt cheeks, than a person who wears his denims the normal traditional way? Don't you think it would be natural for a police officer to be a bit more bias and treat the person with more suspicion? Don't you think that is normal human behavior?

Now, let's turn this into the real world:

People from Pakistan, do not look different than people from India. Yet they completely discriminate against each other.

People from North Korea, do not look different to people from South Korea, yet there is a major problem between those two peoples.

The reason, I think totally different to you, is because I have experienced real racism, unlike anything you have ever seen. First during the apartheid years and now reverse racism if I visit. I have experienced people who look the same, but from different tribes, slaughtering each and other, simply for the fact that one is a Zulu and the other is a Xhosa, living on the same land.

So in short, all I am trying to do is get you to join the first world, a world where we are all the same people with the only difference being values and how we behave. I hope you will join me one day. Go listen to John Lennon, "Imagine"
You are an idiot, plain and simple. You and zerks. What fools. You can't see that we have systematic killing of black people by police? It takes place way too often to just look the other way at the race of the murdered human beings. Black lives do matter and this systematic killing of blacks needs to stop. Did you got to trump university to become so dense?

I'm running out of patience with your stupidity. I've never put anyone on ignore on any forum that I've ever been on but then I've never run into anyone so dense as you and zerks. In fact I'm beginning to think that both of you are the same person.

You tell me I am nuts? Look at what you just wrote. The people around Trump for years mostly admired him and wanted to connect with him. The Clintons adored him because he donated to their campaigns in the past. However, once he decided to run most people in politics / Hollywood flipped out like Oprah and many other celebrities and political types.

I do agree nepotism should be frowned upon when it come to appointments to political positions and the whole family affair phenomena gets rather awkward when to many unexperienced people start consulting with each other.

The other part about your hatred for Trump is funny... I don't recall ever discovering a stupid Billionaire. Now, money doesn't automatically make a person smart... far from it, however, what it does sometimes is magnify who people are based on what they do and what they preach. So, in your personal reality you see rich people like Trump as stupid imbeciles... some people don't see what you see and like the fact that Trump isn't another Swamp creature like all the political hacks and celebrities that scorn him and attack him daily. To me that means he is likely considered a threat to what they have planned for their personal future... especially politicians connected to the MIC , banking, big oil and big Pharma... so... it only stands to reason those that oppose him are not to keen on making America great again because that doesn't fit into their pay to play schemes like what they vote for on the house or senate floor. Somebody has to keep greasing those wheels with pockets.

As far as Floyd goes... he put himself into that situation that escalated to his death. If he wasn't out attempting to pass phoney $20 bills in the first place he would likely still be out doing low level crimes like had been doing much of his life. Life has consequences... choose your activities that border on lawlessness wisely or you could become a victim of your own making... like Floyd did.
So you think that anyone that tries to pass a phony $20 should executed by police without a trial? Got it. That is very fascist thinking, but I expect that from you and jelly.

Imagine life if all people dropped their racism and bigotry.

Borders serve a purpose... they are suppose to keep the sociopaths and worse outside of a defined area so the rest of us can live a more peaceful life. Much of what has come over the border has no regard for this country or its people. They are going to rape, pillage, exploit whatever they can because they have nothing to lose. They already left the world they called home to come to America and enter illegally or legally with very liberal conditions that most countries would never set as a policy for foreign nationals.
You don't need to worry about sociopaths coming across the border. We already have plenty of them here, including the orange guy.

My wife and I spend some time very close to the US/Mexico border in the winter time and when people ask us if we feel safe there, I tell them that I feel just as safe there as I do in Michigan. And I tell them that it isn't like nobody gets murdered in the USA by US citizens either. You sure have drank the trump cult koolaid. Too much of it.

The reason Trump is hated by so many, is simply because of some of his values.

Mike Pence was probably one of the most loyal VP's I have ever seen, yet when Trump asked Pence to do something impossible, something which would have destroyed Pence, Trump turned against him. That is not something a good person does. In short, when things go wrong, Trump will not have your back.

The language he uses and how he destroys people who have a different opinion to his own is a major issue.

The manner in which he praises himself, is both narcissistic and portrays a huge ego.

Some people just cannot identify with those values, it is as simple as that.
That is the first sensible thing that you have written in this thread. It is pretty clear that trump is a piece of poop and belongs behind bars for the rest of his life, even if he does have lots of money. We don't live in a fascist country...yet. And he should be made to pay a price for his many crimes. He is a terrible person. Period. Zero redeeming social qualities. Lock him up already.

I would say that the police officer committed a murder in that case and belongs in prison for it. And I don't care if this person had been speeding at 200 MPH every day for a year. Police officers aren't supposed to be judge, jury and executioner.

I live in Southern California and have been living here since 1993. So... the stories of mischief of all kinds is common knowledge here and we know where a lot of it comes from. The cartels have murdered a lot of Mayors in Mexico ( well over a 100 and that was years ago ) and have expanded their footprint to include real estate in Arizona, California and other states. I take it you haven't seen all the women's panties hanging on bushes that represent where a rape took place. You haven't seen the wrist bands that identify illegals that owe money to the cartels for having been coyote escorted over our border. You haven't seen the piles of trash and human waste where illegals camped at night while making their way here. You haven't learned that cartels threaten to kill family members if the coyote fees and other charges for service isn't paid in a timely manner. So, while it might be safe for you as you have your 9 mm close by, its not for everyone in this area...

Let's not forget Brandon assaulted Tara Reade back when she was a staffer working in his office. He is also on the record of having done
in appropriate things to other women back in that era. He also likes to sniff little girls hair right in front of the parents and others that have been known to cringe at the sight of Brandon taking the liberty of violating some kid's space. But... he was the guy you voted for.
