Clutch master cylinder for softer pull?

I have been thinking seriously to buy one that is up for sale in the ads forum (if it is still available) but i simply do not have the knowledge needed in order to decide if it is good or not for me.
Chris

Do you race or just street ride?

If your not setting it up for the track it's really very simple.
So you are saying to go for a lock up clutch or not?
I am asking because i don't have any experience on lock up clutches.
Is it possible to set up a two stage lockup clutch in such a way that even in high rpm i can still pull the clutch lever (with difficulty i know...)?
The best way in my mind is to have a soft clutch up to say 5000rpm and then as hard as it is now.

Ok so what is done to this motor that caused you to get the springs in the first place.

Because if this is a stock motor the springs are not needed.

More info is needed!

It is not a normal bike anymore, it is a mcx turbo gen1 with water-air intercooler and all clutch springs are 60lbs.
More info and pics here: https://www.hayabusa.org/forum/turbo/182536-finally-i-went-turbo-2.html

i think i will setup a two stage lock up clutch.

Yes i have installed those APE Clutch Spring Kit Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa (99-07)
and now i like the power of the clutch as i can feel the difference during acceleration but i don't like the feel of the lever.
If i don't find something to make my clutch softer i am thinking that it might be a good idea to remove half of the springs.
Do you think that steel braided lines will help?
Maybe i should try this also.
Chris

SS lines are going to do nothing for your problem.

Hi.
I agree.
After reading again the info in this thread i think i will go with a boost compensated lockup clutch after i try the brembo 16 rcs
(if i ever find a used one because its total price is a good portion of the boost compensated clutch).

My TL100r has a heavier (welded centre ramps) clutch. They use the same slave cylinder
I'm using a radial master cylinder from a 999 Ducati.
This has made the clutch actuation very light. Literally fingertip operation.
It also has increased the clutch "take up" distance on the lever, solving the old lightswitch clutch operation on the R
It is an OEM style Brembo master cylinder ,so considerably cheaper than aftermarket type mc's

Two more questions:
1) Does your bike has the same clutch master cylinder as the Hayabusa?
2) is this the clutch master cylinder you have?

The TLR master is a different part to the 'Busa as it has a remote res.
I think it is the same piston as a lot of folks use Busa masters because they prefer the "coffin" res

My radial master is like the second one with the built in master, absolutely brill with an adjustable Pazzo lever
Either would do,both 15x18mm.
Aprilia RSV 04 or later is the same as well, just the remote res is different.
Remote res style is easier to bleed
If you can,get one with the clutch switch included. They can be a bit expensive.

Sorry. Forgot to mention you may need a radial master cylinder adaptor for the clutch line.
The hydraulic line attaches at a different angle, one of these also lengthens it a little.
