Clutch stopped working

Well I was on my way to work this afternoon just to check to see if anything had gone on all day at the office and as I'm trying to pull off the interstate and down shift my clutch stops working. Well one more exit down is a shop calls Power Sports Pro. I skip that exit and get off the next while blipping the throttle just to shift and making sure not to run into any stopped traffic.

I make it to the dealership/shop safely. I go in and start going on about my clutch not working and how I have an extended warranty. The service guy tells me to calm down and he checks it out. He tightens down the front sprocket cover, however I'm missing a bolt. He orders me one which was only $1.99 I was so pissed about this little thing causing such a headache. Anyone else had this problem?

I take it that its working again now? The sprocket cover bolts had backed out enough the your pushrod wasnt disengaging the clutch? Sorry, but this is the first time I've heard of this problem. When ya get the other bolt, put some blue locktite on all of em to keep it from happeneing again.

Haven't had that problem, but thought you were going to say that the nut on the gear shift lever had slipped off.
