crazybill: you can never dump the clutch when your streetracing or at the strip.
you have to slide it. i call it feathering.
use some finess, that the trick.
your right, there is not a hole lot you can do if your trying to launch it with the stock clutch. about the only thing you can do is bring it out at 4,000 rpm's and slide it the best you can. what happens when you bring it out there like that on this bike is it loads the motor just enough to let you get a little momentum while the stock clutch is doing it's thing. after it gets past the point of being loaded up, you can get yourself up to the tank and roll down all the way on the thottle.
now if you like dumping the clutch, you'll need to get a slider clutch. nobody makes one yet for the busa. jesse gatlin has designed a billit basket and heavier springs with a lock up, if you ever find the need for one of those.
