Hey NitrousJunkie, where in UAE do you live?

my dad lives in Sharjah,  I usually go to UAE one a year.

speaking of UAE weather.... i remember the coldest it got was maybe a hair under 60F... but the summers!!! i think it was around 125!!F.. too HOT for me

on another note... i got a car rental for two weeks.. so i am okay for now..got a speical from thrifty for 125/week.. but i also dont own a car.. so got to think of something for the long Michigan winters.

It was 34 degrees at my house when I rode to work on Thursday. I only wish I had heated grips. Really not too bad until you get into the fog. Fog shield is an absolute must have in these conditions. Doesn't help the outside but it keeps fog off the inside nicely. Speaking of which does anyone know if you can (or should) use Rain-X on face shields?

Its been 25 the last week in ga at 0530 but warms up to mid 50's. Myself and my buddy on a GSX1100 are usually the only year round riders at the base. It has done got back to normal temps today at 51 outside at 0517.

Coldest I have rode to work in was around 28 at 5:30am. There was a guy who rode to work the other morning. It was 6 degrees out! Crazy!

Still riding here in Minneapolis. Had snow last week (Only about 1/2 inch), and temps been in the lower 30's to high 20's at night. Broke my wrist about 6 weeks ago, so I wasn't able to ride for about 4 weeks, but now Gretchen and I are together again. Temps arnt bad at all in the low 30's, just have to make sure I use my Zooke wax for my helmet shield, and wear my insulated leathers and snowmobile parka.

The state put down about 2 inche's of salt for the last 1/2 inch of snow, so the roads sorta stink. Looks like no snow until Thursday, so I will ride the rest of the week and continue to ride as long as the roads are clear of serious Ice. Really have to watch out for cagers because they arnt expecting to see motorcycle's this time of year, and when they do see one they just freak out and call everyone on their cell phone which seems to make matters worse.

Ride safe all, the season aint over in Minnesnowta!

It's a common picture

From last year:

New helmet (HJC flipup) and new suit (Aerostich).

Lowest temp so far is 8 degrees with Gerbings electric gear. My Gerbings is being repaired right now. Lowest temps this year without electrics is around 15 degrees. With the new suit and stuff it's working out ok but the fingers are frozen when I get to work.

I use a fog city helmet liner to stop fogging. Works real well. It's cool watching the swirling of the fog inside the helmet (little swirl to the right mostly

) without getting any on the inside. If it gets much lower though the fog settles and freezes immediately. Had that happen last year.

I hit some snow flurries on the way home a last week and it was snowing pretty hard Thursday but none stuck to the road.

The right gear and attitude will get you far. I don't ride when the roads are covered in ice or snow (the snow in the above pic only went to the end of the block so I slowly went to the end of the road and then headed off to work without issues).

Here too, After  the ice melted then it was off and running. I'll use the Busa during the days when it's little warmer and then the goldwing in the early mornings and nights where I can plug in the gerbing stuff.
