So Bee let me ask you a question or two. Do you remember when smoking was marketed as the cool thing to do? How it wasn't harmful? Everyone smoked. It was sophisticated and the right thing to do.
Then it was later revealed that all along big tobacco willfully and with intent hid the truth about the harm of tobacco. And even worse the additives placed into that tobacco. Remember all that?
Remember when they introduced Agent Orange as an effective way to de foliate the jungles so the enemy could be found. They sprayed it right over the top of our troops. Never once suggesting it was a human carcinogen.
In the case of tobacco they knew what they were doing and covered it up.
In the later maybe they didn't know because they never tested it as a possible carcinogen. Or maybe they knew but the pressure was on to find a solution to the jungle that needed to be stripped away because it could save the lives of our troops?
Was that a greater good enough to tell the VETS whose lives are either effed up or cut short because the greater good was more important?
I was and still am a vaccine supporter. But I did not then and still do not like a few things about it. They made people take the vaccine. Giving many little choice. And they cut a deal that noone here could sue the suppliers if it was later learned they cut corners under govt pressure to do so.
So if we have a big tobacco or an AO being repeated, we the masses are being muted from taking action against it
Nobody wanted us to hear all of the science. That troubles me. I know of plenty of well educated medically accredited people that never supported the science used, or the story being told to the masses. And the deaths that occurred that were vaccine related was a career limiting decision they had to make.
I personally believe it was a greater good and I supported what we were being told. Just like cigarette smoking. And Agent Orange. It's not like I can undo anything it can do to me now
And now artificial sweeteners. Man has that taken a turn in the past year or so. Now we learn they've been hiding what was known for years.
So yeah I think it sucks what our government made us do. Cuz we can trust them. Right?

So here's the thing. You don't know that anyone you cited is telling the truth. They have a version of the truth. Of which you wish to believe. Others will believe that Oswald did kill Kennedy. I've seen evidence to suggest he could have fired all those rounds in the period of time it was proposed. It's believable because they sufficiently proved it to me.
I worked for our government. Trust me there is a lot of chyt we don't need to know the truth about. So I don't for a second believe my govt has my interest at their core. But I don't really want to go off and believe anyone that makes $$ at alternative versions of the truth either.

You're missing the point. You can provide reasonable disinformation for about any event you like. Why believe anything? If anyone got close to showing verifiable proof of a plot that would implicate the government, they would simply have a sudden mysterious disappearance.

I don't know why they are not letting the files go unredacted. Probably implicates some powerful people/families. Kennedy had his share of enemies. His dad pissed off most of Organized Crime. About Dulles. One time after Truman was out of office he wrote a magazine article ( prominent magazine ) that painted an unflattering image of the CIA. What did Dulles do? He went to Trumans house and tried to talk him into retracting the article. Truman wouldn't do it. What did Dulles do? He started attacking Truman in newspapers and magazines with no regard for the former president... after all, Truman couldn't fire him while out of office.

I don't quite get the analogies you provided...Agent Orange and tobacco use are definitely not on the same scale as (the) a pandemic.....
We could lump all kinds of things in there, alcohol use, marijuana use and the list goes on and on and on....
Much has been learned about Covid 19 now.....but when it was first affecting people, little was known about this particular strain....yes we watched that video where the expert has said there was a threat and that threat could become a reality......and it did......and who knows how many other threats have become a reality....
This could go back and forth for a long, long time with zero gains being made by either side of the argument.
However, the bottom line is-there was a threat, the governments of the world had to react and do whatever they could to alleviate this threat...pre-vaccine it was lock downs and isolation then a vaccine came that would allow people their freedom again...

I read about "forever chemicals" and micro plastics in everything including rain now....am worried about a vaccine.....nope.
Do I personally know of anyone who has had an issue from getting a vaccine....nope....and some of the people I know who got the vaccine are frail and vulnerable so if it was to affect anyone, they'd be on the top of the list...
The public outcry would have come pretty loud if this virus turned out to be lethal and the governments of the world did nothing.

The analogies are, we as a population have been subjected to things that we later learned can do us harm. Some were as a result of purposeful deceit, some where they didn't know enough about what they were doing.
I personally believe the vaccine helped eliminate COVID. I also hope the vaccine won't be responsible for killing me or others as part of a greater good.
