Just happened to go into Kijiji to look at what Hayabusas are selling for and I came across this one:

He must think it is made of unobtanium or something...$19,500 for a '17...shocking....

Because living costs are higher your end, the folks who sell motorcycles have to ask higher prices to make ends meat.

That will not sell though, it is either a scam or ignorance.

I think they were selling for $14,500 or so new in '17...

Even with the money conversion to Canadian funds, the one I was talking about is around $18k USD

Best I've seen is $16,500
but that's not out the door...
I'm all for driving to the best deal too, within reason for time and gas.
Pay tax, tag and title in my state.

Speaking of not getting any deals...

A neighbor was searching for a Polaris Razor side by side and found one at a dealer 1.5 hrs away...he had to give them $1k to hold it and when he got there, no haggling, extras or deals were to be had.

The guy told him he would pay full sticker or he could sell it to the 5 other people on the list who were awaiting his call.

So he bought it and says although he paid full price for it, it wasn't over priced like many other places are doing.

I am hearing the same thing for any powersports, prices are what you see and no less.
