Cush Drive Question

No sir, checked everything with a straight edge the next morning and it was good. Ordered chain, sprockets, and front brake pads. The chain just decided to start going away right after I got the bike out of the shop. 29085 on the original equipment. Gonna try the EBC Pro Extreme pads ,,,,,,

did you keep that straight edge on it while turning it? to see if it rotates out? or am i not thinking right?

If I understand your question correctly .... I checked it while spinning the wheel by hand. From past experience it's just the chain starting to go away. As soon as it gets bad enough or I get a few days off I'll throw the parts on and put a few thousand miles on her and we'll see, but I'm 99.9 % sure it's just a warn chain

Not to hijack the thread here but what is the advantage of changing out the cush drive. My Busa has 40000km on it and I assume the cush is the original. Ive seen some pretty pricey aftermarket ones out there but not real sure of the advantage of changing them out from stock.

Smoothness, the OEM cush drives are made of rubber which asorbs some of the drivetrain shock.
When the rear wheel is removed take the sprocket hub and check to see if it has any play in rotation motion, it should also take some effort to pull the sprocket hub from the wheel.
I personally will go with OEM cush's but I also have no expierence with the aftermarket ones besides people complaining about the fitment.
