what color did it start out as ?

It started out as a blue/silver 05.

The base coat is actually a light green (official name is Satin Jade) that people think is silver. We did it in two-stages. Last summer we did the base coat (I was without the bike for about a week). Then over the winter, we did the airbrushing (which took about 2 months). We did it over the winter, because I didn't want to be without the bike for 2 months during the riding season.

I like the font you used for hayabusa and 1300... the exact style of BANG! and SPLASH! etc. That was a nice touch.

Besides the reflectors, why no undertail? Just curious...

Everybody is on me to remove the reflectors. I guess I'll do that this weekend.

I really haven't seen an undertail that I like. Everytime I ride with someone who has one, it's kinda difficult to tell when they're turning and which direction. The turn signals being in the same space as the brake light takes away from both of them. Either the brake light isn't as bright and big or the turn signals aren't as noticeable.

So I doubt that I get an undertail mod.

Batman is my fave character. The dude's awesome. No super powers, just strength and brains.

Now this is gonna sound like a critique, and it's totally not, so apologies in advance, but...

Why does batman have the yellow chest shield on the sides of the bike but just the black bat on the fairing and tank? Are you intentionally paying homage to two different artists? I know batman has been done both ways in the series and the books.

I wish I could see it in person. The paint looks like it would just jump out at you.
