UPDATE: we have decided to take our daughter out of the hospital. She will be home by morning. Everything seems to be fine except for her heart rate. The docs here don't know why its so low, all the test indicate some type of blockage but she is not showing any other signs of distress, so they are basciall telling us its just the way she is. There is nothing they can do. I bought a monitor to keep track of her here. If we need to go back, I will take her to a different hospital with a pediatric cardiologist 20 minutes south of us. LESSON LEARNED: don't let a family doctor make decisions that a pediatrist should!
