the fire dept. is a good job in my opinion. pay is good and the schedule is dope. you can also sling that carpentry job on the side to make a little extra dough. i know quite a few guys that transferred from corrections that feel they are better off with the fire dept.
Well the problem down here in arizona, if you don't work for the government, municipal jobs are almost extinct. Fire departments arent hiring, police departments aren't hiring very often, construction is nothing......I just wanna steady job with good benefits and a good retirement package.....
