In a perfect world, you use both brakes. But if you haven't been trained how to do it right, you could easily do more damage than good.

Learn it and do it and you'll be safer on the streets.

On the track, you still use both brakes but the technique is radically different and very few people can do it just right. Be careful.

Braking is a learned skill. Either under braking or over braking is a leading factor in motorcycle fatalities. Sadly, very few riders take braking seriously. They are happy to practice twisting the throttle but rarely if ever practice hard/emergency braking.

Common. I thought everyone used only their rear brake while coast to a stop off the freeway to let some blood flow back into the right wrist!
I use almost all front on the Bus. My 9, on the other hand, I need (NEED!) to use both.

I use the rear in parking lot maneuvers and to scrub speed in the twisties. Only use both in an emergency stop situation.

Lol I’ve been in the other threads so much I didn’t notice the date. Question: is Rojo and RedBull one and the same?
It appears they are....

....and I hear you.....even though it is an older thread, it is a refreshing break from some of the other threads that seem to keep going around in circles.

....also I use a combination of brakes, it all depends on the situation...

Is Rojo really Redbull?
That took one post to suspect, and 2 to confirm, lol
I'm going to change my screen name to El sixpacko, so I can go about here unoticed...
lmao
