Double D's 06LE/Progress

Hey, all...

Double D's 06LE was unfortunately dropped after hitting some gravel a couple of months ago (what was the date, Tammy?).

I was able to provide her with a replacement right side fairing (to replace the one you see duct-taped in linked pix) from my modest cache of parts, and off to the paint shop she went.

In the link, you'll find updated pix of the custom paint job she's getting in a SoCal shop.

As you can imagine, Tammy (Double D) is VERY eager to not only see the final result (an unveiling party, possibly?) but to get back on the road on her most favored bike.

I was very upset when I hit that patch of gravel up in the mountains but then I was thankful that I was ok and the damage was not as bad as I thought it would be. I figured since I was gonna have to get her all pretty again I should get her custom painted. Well in about 2 weeks she will be ready...(so excited) Just in case people are wondering why "HIPPOBUSA" .... I love hippo's and I think that the Hayabusa is a very sexy hippo. I hope everyone loves the progress on my baby.
