whats an oil wrench oh ah thats those things on the end of my arms

Sometimes, there isn't enough room in there to use a socket style wrench. I use a plier style wrench and I can't stand K&N filters. The "nut" always rounds off! Bleah.

I'd say if you are rounding the nut off on the filter you are torquing it too tight.
