eFax - J2 Communications - A company that finally gets it!

So I have several accounts with J2 Communications. These are the people that bring you eFax, eVoice, and several other internet based data services. After going round and round with their people overseas, I was at the point that I was going to cancel my services with them.

But today I spoke to a nice girl that told me that in May they will be bringing customer service back to the United States. And to that I say AMEN. I wish more companies understood that call centers overseas may save $$$ now, it costs them in the long run.

customer service is a dieing art. It really can make the difference between having a bunch of 1-time customers who does business with your company for the low price, or having a bunch of loyal customers who stick with you because of the quality service, even if it costs a few more $.

It is rare, but a company that actually goes out of THEIR way to rectify whatever problem you have, even if they end up taking a small loss, is the kind of company I prefer to deal with.
 
I would rather spend a little more money on a product from a company that has really good customer service. Apple has their call center here in the US and you can always talk to someone 24 hrs a day 7 days a week and they all speak english. You can get a Apple products cheaper from other places, but buying it straight from Apple you get the better service.
