I have made additionnal testing on my Hayabusa please find below what to do to make your engine CUT-OUT if your bike has the problem:

1. warm your bike by riding around.
2. Go up to the 4th gear, then push at about 9500 rpm
3. Cut the gaz, open the gaz immediately, then the engine stop.
4. Wait about 5 seconds, then the engine restart
5. Continue to ride under 9000 rpm

IT WORKS EVERY TIME I TESTED IT !!!

I have noticed that it works also on the 3rd and 5th gears, but, the above test work all the time, I have ride the bike in the morning, at noon under a hot sun ( 36 degrees celsius ) and in the evening.
Please also note that tis work only when the engine is HOT.

Does anyone have the same problem ???

pmb, maybe its a protection in the fuel injection. why anyone would go to 9500 rpm then suddenly turn off the gas and then back on is beyond me. I went out to try it but found it to very unnatural thing to do. Mine didnt do it cause i only went to 8500 or so in fourth but i can go through me life without doing what you described....for what its worth......Of course if you were just doing that to shift to a higher gear that would be a problem.........

PMB, can you jumper the Dealer Indicator thing under your pilion. (See earlier posts). The LCD on your instruments should show a C00. Then go out and run your test reproducing the engine cutout. If all goes well you should have a code displayed that will give us a hint as to why the engine is cutting out. David G. in an earlier post lists the codes and what they mean. Let us know if you tried it and what code occurred.

I understand that some of you thing it is a strange way to ride a bike...but, when it happenned the first time, I was changing from 5th gear to 6th gear, at fast speed !!!
To reproduce the failure, I had to go above 9000 rpm because nothing happens under.
The only moment I do like this with gas is when I want to change the gear.
I will test and post the result, I'll also ask the mechanics to order another electronic box to see if it still happen.
