Busadan: If you post some pics, I have a thread: "Way Back in the Day" pictures. Photopoint.com works great for posting pics. Drop me a line over at labusas.org if you need help on pic posting. If you hit "edit" on one of the posts with a picture, it will show the exact text used for picture. Starts with:

C.Dolan,
When I made my 9.75 pass at Shreveport I weighed 185lbs. I have been doing this for 25 years. Like I said yesterday, I run diferent times at diferent tracks. Your post was right on as far as track conditions go.
I may neverrun 9.75 again but i did once!

Dirty Pete,
Why do you think I would lie about something as trivial as ETs. My Dad taught me to lie only if there is profit or sex involved. I don't want your money or sex from you.

To AQUADIOSMED: It must have been the air. I was getting better traction at Carlsbad. My front end would carry 6" off ground, from start, to 200' out. At Fremont, I had more tire spin, than I would have liked, and front wheel never left ground. Again, I had to use 2 jet sizes larger than anywhere else I have ever run.

C-DOLAN;
I have not drag raced, at a sanctioned strip, for years, but when I did my best times, speed and e.t. were always Fremont Ca. or Half Moon Bay ... I suspected it was the "air", an always got off the line very well there! Maybe they had "good" aspahlt on the starting line too???
