Nice shooting. The 7 yard distance or less, is where most if not all self defense situations arise, about a good car length or less away from the threat. And that will require good point shooting, hitting your target w/o a (timed set) focused aim. Good shooting there for 60 feet with a short pistol.
The shortest barrel gun there is the .357 mag J frame . My son can out perform me with his two 9 mm's due to thousands of rounds , and his training in the Corps . However its the other way around with the revolver . I put 3 in the target @ 20 yards in the dim lighting with my front sight near disappearing ( base ball size target )
The Buck Mark .22 is the most accurate of the guns due to target sights , long radius , and low recoil .
Tonight we shoot up all my .357 Heavy loads . It makes people look
Speaking of going to a range, I was surfing @RedBull 's playground and saw this and had to share.
I certainly wouldn't be using an airgun for self defense...unless it's the automatic one I have which shoots 650 FPS. It would at least make the bad guys duck when shooting at me...
