Fallen Rider

(dreamin_of_ridin @ May 12 2007,10:09) John, I am so sorry for your loss. There is nothing worse than losing someone you love. Before you give up riding and sell your bike, I urge you to please just take a break. Think about the enjoyment you get from riding and then think about the enjoyment Scott got from riding. Think about what Scott would tell you to do. Would he tell you to give up something you love or would he tell you to take as much care as you can to minimize the risk? Don't react to your grief by giving up something. Trust me when I say that I understand how you are feeling. Grieve for Scott, talk about him, and then, when the pain starts to lessen, celebrate his life. You will see him again and he'll want to ride the twisties of heaven with you. You'll need your bike.

RIP Scott. May God welcome you with open arms and make sure to look up my dad.

That's my girl...... She's awesome.

Deepest sympathies! How could one not question riding when faced with such emotional turmoil? Mourning is a process that is not to be rushed. Take your time and know that prayers are being sent your way! Prayers for Scott and family! RIP Scott.

+1
