False neutral

Rogue, I've only ridden 3 Busas, but all of them shifted pretty "notchy" and slow at first, including mine.

Going to synthetic(blend or pure)after breakin helps a lot, but more miles helped mine more than anything.

Mine shifted fine on upshifts after about 5000 miles. It still hangs up occasionally on multiple downshifts before coming to a stop, if I start the process from too slow a speed. The solution to that is obvious, and I'm working on it. :)
 
I adjusted my shifter down to "fit" my foot on day one. I havn't had ANY false neutrals.
And I am no big deal rider. And I havn't changed to synthetic yet.

It's good practice to set the pedals, levers, and suspension for your personal ergo's when you acquire a new bike.
