moms C5 - 155(5th gear)

aunts 01 Cobra - 140(4th gear)

this year the Iroc will see 160+

i wish my mom had a c5 i could 155 in lol

Dodge Ram truck stock computer turns off the party at 112!.. Ha! ..turns off both spark and fuel... thought I blew it up!, it turned back on at 'bout 109.. WHEW!!

I went 170 in my Nissan 300zx twin turbo (had it built to 410 hp)...rock solid go fast feeling car. Oh yeah, I went 92 mph in my mothers Winnebago (down a hill) when she was sleeping in the bedroom. Raydog

Finally a topic I can relate too..

110 stock 1.6l NA civic, too many times to even count -- wouldn't blow up.
140 1980 built chevy camaro 4 speed.
110 Mitz turbo diesel box truck (rented)
145 in dads 07' Z51 vette 5th gear pull, still left with 6th gear to pull.
150ish mitzubishi 2.0l small shot NOS
163 in 98' swapped / built / turbo civic hatch 450whp = stock suspension makes it feel like a tank slap on a bike. Suspension is key, along with down force. Car still scares my dad on the streets.
550whp Integra turbo, full cage.. TBD come spring.

198 colt w/ video = GPS. 4G63 Turbo 701whp @ 31psi <--Not me, local guy

Going to Maxton Mile NC for Hot Rod mag shoot out April 2,3,4, I'll shoot pics and report if interested. Were taking a Teg NA 210whp and Evo turbo should push over 210, but we will see what it does. Time slips tell all...

Going for 200+ mph on 05' 1397cc Busa, ported / polished / cam blah blah in June.
Next year personal turbo busa to get my high. Wanna be 210 plus..

The fastest I've ever driven my car is about 107 mph. It's a '98 Chevy Malibu V6 with about 117,000 miles on it.

I've had my '08 'Busa up to about 125 mph. I got my '88 Ninja 600 up to 128 mph before getting scared and backing off the gas. I must have had worn-out tires on the Ninja because a gust of wind hit me from the side and moved me over about half a lane. That scared me and I backed off.

Traffic is so bad around where I live, which is in a busy suburb of Atlanta, and I can't find a good stretch of flat and open highway where I'm confident bacon won't be watching.

I have taken my 'o6 350z up to 145, it had a little room to go but I was gaining on a truck pretty quick. Being a convertible, it was quite loud.


A couple of weeks ago I was test driving a Z06, had it in the 150 range on the test drive (with the salesman) I don't think he's going to allow me to test drive any more cars.

Well in my 1992 Camaro RS stupid 110 limiter. I have seen 178MPH. before you say anything it isnt anywhere near stock.

I will have to see if I still have the speed marker from the Highway patrol officer. (Don't worry he was a racer friend that let a few of us run it out a mile, so no tickets that night)

Wow there is some nice cars out there. I've hit 135 in my 89Saab 9000. that was a little skidish, but not as bad as 145 in a 95 Mazda millenia, it has a pretty soft suspension. But now its all on the busa.

~165 in my 01 6 speed WS6 Trans am, had 3.73 gears, heads and a cam, stock tire size, was running at 5500 rpms in 5th. damn thing was hella nice at those speeds, wouldn't have guessed anything over 80-85

How ever fast a 71 chevelle will go with 4:10's in it with the motor valve floating and the 120 speedo under the dash.
