My dad just got his brand new KAWA GTR 1400 so we went out  for a little shooting..

The GTR is a nice strong and comfy touring bike. He got it after riding his FJR for the last 7 years.

any way he was about to get an orange/black busa, but we couldnt find a proper hard side cases mountings for the long trips and my mother felt more safe and comfy on the back of the GTR. Anyway he still thinks that the busa is the best bike around.

If I were a long range rider this would be the bike. Kawi needs to use this nose on the ninja it looks so much better and you can hardly see the george foremans.

Glad you get the chance to do these kind of rides with your dad. Mine never got into bikes like I have, and mine died before he could get this experience. However, I do applaude you both. And you still got the Busa props from your dad. Too cool. And.....his bike costs more!

SW Motech has just released their hard bag brackets for the 08 Busa...ordered mine yesterday from TwistedThrottle.com.

They will work for Givi, Krauser and Motechs own bags...you just have to buy different adapter hardware.

I took the GTR for a ride. this is a great bike. alot better then the FJR. stronger' more comfy' more stable and the shaft drive feels more like chain. Plus all the cool electronic stuff....
