I love my credit union. Sometimes the rates are not the absolute lowest (usually close though), but never any questions asked. I paid cash for my 06LE, but all of my other loan activities through them have been great. My credit union wants to help me, not abuse me.

My last few experiences with banks have been less than stellar (spoken from a person with excellent credit who makes a decent buck). I hate them.

We have 1 credit union here for siu. They have weird rules for joining. ehh never mind My county is listed. Ill have to do that maybe.
8% is there rate hummm ill find out in the spring.

I have a First National Bank of Omaha Visa card.Once in a while i get an offer for 0% for 12 months. On $11,000 (In the ballpark of a '08 Busa price) that would be $917.00/month. Pretty steep but if you could swing it that may be the way to go. Also,make sure you have that much of a limit.
