First service, 230$ for oil change and check up.

Sounds a little steep. Think I paid $150. I have 2 shops nearby. 1 is 8 miles away and the other is 24 miles away. I go to the one 24 miles way because they charge a lot less and I trust the guys. Find a good shop that you like and that wont bend you over.

The "other" shop for oil change and small maintenance will be me.

I think that the maintenance items that I do myself are probably typical of what a lot of members here do. These are the minimum that you should be able to do yourself for the satisfaction and the fact that you will do a better job than the dealer. Oil and filter change. Clean and adjust chain. Change and bleed coolant. Change and bleed brake and clutch fluid. Change spark plugs and air filter. Remove and replace wheels for tire change. "Check and tighten bolts". This year I'm adding break and replace the chain and replace front and rear sprockets to my list.

I did all that to my old cbr and my wife's chopper.
Problem here was,why they had to say that many times to bring it for first service or I may loose the warranty.
Some of them even mention, maybe we even need to check valves. I said, do not touch that, check the service schedule.

If your new bike made it in and out of the dealership without getting scratched, scraped, or otherwise compromised, you should consider yourself lucky and call it a lesson learned. I hate taking any personal vehicle in for service of any type. Half those guys are either animals, or incompetent, and no one is going to treat my vehicle the way I would. Learned this the hard way too many times. No mas..

Edit: ^Oh, and this isn't even factoring in the ass rapery that comes with the territory..

Well that's why I was looking for scratches and dents or something when they pull it out from shop.
Like 5 min watching over the bike.

That's why I think they didn't even open the plastics.
Then they certainly didn't do a proper by the book 1st service as they should have gone in and checked head, engine & frame bolts at random for tightness.
A little trick is to deliberately put a blob of dirty grease inside the head of one of the allen screws they must remove to get a job done and to scrape the oil filter before handing the bike over....that way you will know straight away if its been done.
I know of numerous places that have just wiped the outside of an oil filter and claimed they changed it...same with air filters and spark plugs if they know the owner never touches the bike or wouldn't know any better.
Servicing is a dirty trade and plenty of so called mechanics / dealers will happily wipe you eye to save money and charge extra.

So the bike was for the first service at dealer and they made my wallet 230$ lighter.
They said they will do oil and filter change.4qt and 1oil filter.oil and filter change.4qt and 1oil filter.
Adjust chain.
Check and re-tight exhaust clamps and bolts.
Check chassis/frame bolts.
Check steering/tripple tree bolts.
Wheels
Brakes.
They said if i dont bring it to first service, i might loose the warranty.

When my semi truck goes to oil change and service it costs 265$.
9 gallons oil.
3 big ass oil filters.
2 big fuel filters.
1pack of grease.
Adjust 6 brakes
Check transmission and 2 differential for oil.
Check lights and coolant level.

I have highlighted in red what they actually did.

From another aspect your under no obligation to take the bike to them or even a Suzuki dealer to maintain your warranty.....any mechanic can do the work as long as they stamp the service book and use approved parts & materials and follow the Suzuki service routine.
Check your local details of the warranty inside the service book

If your dealer told you your warranty will be void if you don't have the work done there, I would find another dealer! That is TOTAL BS.

I suppose it would be hard to tell unless you changed the filter yourself and sent it to a lab to be analyzed.
But even that might not prove anything...

Yeah. Probably I will do oil change before the season ends.
I will do it.
I want my bikes to sit over the winter with new oil.

That's why I was planning to stay and wait and watch, but when they say it's gonna be a while until they get to it, I got so frustrated and started raising my voice to him.
He says to be there Saturday morning between 10:00-10:30. I arrive 10:25.
He says you have 5 bikes ahead of you.
I say,we'll you told me to be at sertain time and I am here thinking it's an appt time.
He says, we'll Saturday is first come first serve.
I said, why the **** you didn't told me that?
I wish he was in my country so I can punch him so hard that he will think that this is planet Mars.

Exactly. Fellows, it is really extremely rare, i would say impossible to keep your bike dent and scratch free, It will happen something in or out the dealership. I have spent hours and hours being sad about a dent, scratch etc that I had no idea how it happened. what I have realized, is that it is better not to look and check it out each time you ride, because you will get insame. It happened to me twice the last 3 months
Whatever you do don't wreck it. My off cost $4500.00 and it was all plastics and exhaust.

But you are not sure if you did it or the dealer?

Yeah $230 seems a bit high over where you are but dont worry about it to much live and learn

Yeah, now I will just enjoy and ride.
I have put 150 fast miles after the first service.
To bad I can't ride more.
To much work and lots of work around the house.
