Flash tune review

To start off on the highway its a blast. No runs to "Mexico" yet. The pops and bangs arent annoying at all. If you dont want it upshift or just keep it below 6500 rpm. Want to make some sweet music crank it up. Have not done long trip yet, thats coming in Aug. Only thing that I am struggling with is slow speed like 15-20 mph in 1st gear or traffic riding. Kinda twitchy and lots of clutching. I live inside the DC Beltway and the traffic here is a nightmare. Whats everyone else thoughts. All in all Moore Mafia knocked it out the park .

100% accurate review for me as well. I would have preferred my throttle to be less on/off feeling. Ideally, I'd prefer something in the middle of what we have and stock.

I get to find out on the 22nd! I guess maybe before that if I can take the raffle bike for a spin!

its not bad if you are on the road just slow speed and tight slow cornering is a bit on offish. Slow u turns are my weekness too....

Has Deceleration Fuel Cutoff been disabled?

Have you played with the engine braking control?

I had my digital speedo plugged into the OBD2 and every time I'd roll into the throttle, on the 2-3 shift it would hesitate/lag. It also happened once on the 3-4 shift. I have not noticed this prior, so assuming it's due to the speedo being plugged in. I removed it before taking off to work this morning so will do a few pulls on the way home and see.

always nice being the Guinea Pigs right?

I've only logged around 400 miles with the tune, but the more I ride the more dislike parking lot speeds with the new throttle % adjusted. I'd much prefer keeping them stock, although ideally would like to try midway between now and OEM.

My MPG doesn't count due to the wide tire, but so far best has been around 32. Previous tanks, I was playing alot with the pops, bangs and flames so RPMs have always been above 6k. This tank I'm taking it easy, although MPG hasn't changed much. Note that while I don't remember MPG when it was stock, it has always been less than others that have posted theirs.

How is it different at parking lot speeds?

@PeregrineKeith. How's the flash for ya?
I’m with you guys on the twitchy on/off at lower speeds but going to C mode negates all that just as it neuters the power from stock.
Pops and bangs on my white bike are 100x better than the silver bike. I think the silver bike was done pretty early and may only really come on in 5th whereas the white bike has pops and bangs anytime over 5-6k.
Power wise… hell yeah the bike is definitely more woke now, I can’t believe how powerful and fast it was before the flash then realizing it was being held back and yet still felt strong. Now it’s definitely more powerful and faster!
I left the engine braking deal alone after talking to Chris. He didn’t seem to think it was needed and I street ride a lot and that’s something that I rely on. If it’s disabled you really have to be on the brakes a good bit more on the street.
More riding of the silver bike this weekend as it’s registered now and my home dealership is having a re-grand opening I plan on attending.
Sorry for the long reply. I should save most of this stuff for when I start my own thread.
