I don't use internet explorer so it wasn't set up to connect to the internet. Fixed that and it worked perfect. Silly me!

Question...if i have a bazzaz with the AFM option and a NOS mini controller. How would i go about transferring all my current motor/nitrous maps to the ECU? im assuming the nitrous settings are fairly easy to set up progressively...

there is a bazzaz map import feature, and nos is super easy to setup, neither i would trust without verifying AFR on dyno or with a logger

No, you need to upgrade to the 02 to 07 ecu and stator.

Yes, I did.

you have to set up an admin account in windows 7, then install ecueditor, and you will have access to the com ports.

go to start, accessories, right click on command prompt and run as admin
then at the prompt type net user administrator /active:yes

Enable the (Hidden) Administrator Account on Windows 7 or Vista - How-To Geek

Assuming flasher is plugged in to computer only explanation would be you didn't load com port driver from setup in ecueditor
