Flashing the 08 / ECU Editing software for GEN II Busas

if you aren't going to use the slew rate, do as i did on my bike, set the rpm/sec values as high as they will go, and ignition timing to pull set to 0 in all spots, that should basically keep it from being active.

Awesome! Thank you! Now i cant wait to get my tank bank from the paint shop muahah

im ready to flash my 1k and was wondering if anybody has any advice... i was going to just start with using the map that the ecu editor generats when opening software + removing the speed limitor, and stock 02 and pair valve.. hows about rpm? or anything elis that would be good to do??thanks for any info...

Ok, a couple of questions. Please bear with me...

I purchased a LC-1 and gauge. I will installing it this weekend. I have the Data logging flasher from Smithabusa (awesome to deal with and great customer service). I have played with the auto tune using the stock sensor but not comfortable with using it to tune WOT at high RPM. I have the install and connection direction but I want to know a few things.

1. After tuning with the WB o2, do most you go back to using the stock o2 or leave it off?

2. The WB o2 can be wired into the ECU but do you leave it in or remove it after tuning (after monitoring the tune for a while)

3. is there any advantage to leaving it vs removing and running on tune alone?(other than the obvious ability to monitor AFR)

4. Last but not least, How much is the life of the o2 sensor cut short by being left in the exhaust and using it all the time?

Thanks for the help and if the answers are elsewhere, please point to me to the right thread and call me stupid.

Somewhat off topic but the ECU editing thread is getting quite long. So I am jumping in. Pardon me.
I have had my 2008 tuned using the ECU editor. Performance is great. Fuel economy not so much. Question I have relates to "b" mode and "c" mode. Will those 2 modes be as per OEM settings after the tune in A mode? I ask because it might be a way for me to go on tour and get some ok fuel economy. Please and thanks, Ziggy

flashing for nos progressive fuel to match timing per gear. i do have it working but just recently switched to new data logger so my nos map in bazzaz is no good to me. would like to know if someone knows how to calculate the amount of fuel i need by looking at old bazzaz maps to set fuel vs amount of spray per gear just to start of to be safe:please::please::please:

Question on the new flashing software, I burned out my quickshifter from Bazzaz, and was looking to use the same settings for timing on the ECU quickshifter. Prior to buying though I'd like to know if a few things are possible. As far as the ECU setting is concerned, I wasn't sure if I can split timing for each gear. I've seen that I can merge them into a set time, but wasn't sure on seperate gear engine kill times. Is it possible to split this timing on the software? If so how can a dumby such as myself do so?

Hi Guys. I lost all my laptop data and I want to know if there is any way that I can take out the map that is in my ecu to save it? :please:
Thanks

Are there details on map switching anywhere?
I've yet to find it on the hack forums either.
Thanks
