Forward handlebars

I have long arms and broad sholders. I notice when I ride the outside of my palms hurt from pressing on them. I was looking for handle bars that were postioned more forward. I think with less pull back it would be more comfortable to ride on for me.

You talking about having to lean further forward? I would think that would put more weight on the hands? Most people either install Heli Bars or Risers for comfort. Or both. However A new top clamp that allows the fork tubes to slide through(kind for lowering) does move the handlebars a slight bit forward. The factory Top Clamp has handle bars going over the fork tubes. It's not much of a difference, but might be just enough for what you want.

If they were still in business I would have recommended the Cycle Cat bars but alas they are kaput! You could look at the Gilles Bars or even convertibars if you can get past the appearance.

It could be two other possibilities. It could be that the angle of the stock bars doesn't suit you. Try to sit on a bike with helibars. Even though they bring the bar a little closer, the angle is more comfortable for some. The busa has a fairly long reach to the bars even though the bars aren't as low as some other bikes. Also, you could be leaning too heavily on the bars and supporting more of your upper body with your back could help. If you do a straight arm lean into the bars you'll feel every bump and your hands will fatique sooner.
